  The Acoustic Guitar Society of Ashland, Oregon will
hold its first meeting on Friday, Sept. 28th, 2001, at:

Church of Christ
717 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland, Oregon
Time: 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Schedule of Events on Sept. 28th meeting will include:

1) discussion about membership, forms, a vote on how much membership dues should be;
     

2) discussion about projects and goals; sign up for committees
to work on developing a guitar orchestra, benefit concerts,
master classes, guitar competitions;

3) Open Mic session. Sign ups and performance;

4) Guest performer: David Rogers, guitar instructor at Southern Oregon University and professional performer for the Ashland Shakespeare Festival and as well as other venues.

Current plans are to have at least one meeting on the last Friday of each month. Open Mic and guest performers will be continuous, as well as update announcements on the various member projects.
