The
5th annual City of Derry Guitar Festival, is set in the
beautiful grounds of the University of Ulster Magee Campus.
in the historic walled city of Derry, Northern Ireland. This
unique festival is an offering to guitarists of all level irrespective
of age. Here you will have the opportunity to participate in
master classes, workshops, ensembles, solo performances and
much more, in arelaxed atmosphere. The festival is renowned
for the accessibility of its tutors and the informality of its
learning environment.
An
array of some of the top international guitarists of our time,
crossing the genres of classical, acoustic, electric and flamenco,
will help you discover and develop new skills over four days
of truly intense guitar therapy. The sole purpose of this course
is to help you as an enthusiastic amateur or a committed professional
to utilize your skills to their full potential.
The
Festival is offering a comprehensive course on composition and
music analysis which is open to performers and composers alike.
Here you will have the opportunity to develop skills in constructive
analysis of standard repertoire with the new Analysis Workshops.
