Little Guitar Academy
Ingesund Music College, Arvika, Sweden
July 30 – August 5 2006

 


Under the collective title Little Guitar Academy , the Swedish Guitar and Lute Society, is organizing, for the thirty-ninth year, summer ourses for guitarists and lutenists, in collaboration with the Music College of Ingesund in Arvika.

Eduardo Fernandez , is leading this year´s guitar master classes.. The lute and baroque guitar courses are headed by Roland Hogman. Eva Möller will teach flamenco. There will also this year be a strong emphasis on guitar orchestra playing with Anders Gustafsson and Birgitta Sparre as leaders. Robert Robertsson and Andreas Edeskog will give courses in folk song accompaniment. Per-Olof Hedlund, Mats Bergström Bo Hansson, Eric Lammers, Yvonne Nordström Lammers, Anders Vegborn, Owe Walter, Mårten Falk, Jenny Horn, Leif-Åke Wiklund and Georg Gulyas will give individual guitar tuition and lead the ensembles. Owe Walter is course administrator, Anders Vegborn secretary, (e-mail anders@vegborn.se). The courses are directed to guitarists and lutenists of all categories.

Accommodation will be in double rooms. Fees are SEK 3350 (members of SGLS SEK 3100.) The fee is all inclusive. Registration fee is SEK 800. Extra fee for single room is SEK 550.

Application and registration fee have to be made and paid before May 19 2006.

Confirmation of the application will be made before June 20, 2006. For ease of administration, we would appreciate the form to be filled in as fully as possible.

The remaining fee , SEK is to be paid to the same account/address by June 30, 2006 at the very latest.

Be sure not to forget: Your own music, music stand, second instrument, footstool, etc, and sheets and towels.
